This walk takes you through the diverse habitat and wildlife haven of Coul Den, and past the newly planted native woodland of Pitcairn, planted to encourage red squirrels.
A short route on a compacted well surfaced path with some narrow sections. A short steep section of steps and a stone stile on the way.

Terrain Mostly wide surfaced paths, with short moderate slopes. Some sections may be muddy after heavy rain. Includes bridges and crossings of busy roads.

This walk takes you around the old reservoir of Coul Den Nature Reserve. There are great views towards the Firth of Forth to the South and a glimpse of East Lomond to the North.
This is a circular walk on compacted well surfaced paths, some short moderate slopes on the way.
